Fall/Winter Skincare Tips
Fall is here and Winter is approaching it is time to add a few tweaks to our skincare routine.
That being said, during the colder seasons, skin can become dry, tight, and more irritated.
Here are a few tips to help maintain your summer glow through the Fall and Winter seasons.
Avoid Hot Water
1. Try not to dry out your skin by using hot water. Hot water can dry out your skin by making skin more inflamed and depleting your natural oils.
Tip: Use Luke-warm water
Moisturize
2. Maintaining moisturized skin in the cooler seasons is important because during these seasons temperatures drop and skin can begin to feel dry and tight.
Tip: Use a thicker moisturizer or if sensitive use ingredients that won't irritate.
Exfoliate less.
3.Do not over-exfoliate. Over-exfoliating can dry out skin even more leaving skin feeling dry, tight, and even irritated.
Tip: Exfoliate once or twice a week
